One unit. One duct. Your tent runs itself automatically.

The AC Infinity Terraform 8 is a 5-in-1 climate control system that cools, heats, dehumidifies, circulates, and exchanges air through a single 8-inch duct, covering grow spaces up to 10x10 feet. Set a target temperature or VPD value once, and the onboard AI monitors conditions in real time and switches between cooling, heating, and fan modes without any input from you. It runs on 115V standard household power at up to 1,200 watts, draws 10 amps, and handles year-round climate management through one duct connection for most conditions. No separate heater. No separate dehumidifier. No manual mode switching.

Terraform 8 vs. running separate devices
Separate AC, Heater, and Dehumidifier
  • Multiple ducts, cords, and control panels to manage
  • Mode switching is manual: you adjust when the season changes
  • Condensate drains require regular emptying or a drain line
  • Each device needs its own controller or timer setup
  • No built-in VPD awareness, temperature and humidity managed separately
  • Fixed placement: most window or portable units are difficult to reposition
Terraform 8
  • Single duct handles cool, heat, fan, and air exchange in one run
  • AI auto-switches modes in real time based on current conditions
  • Self-evaporative system recycles condensate, reducing drain frequency
  • Optional UIS controller connects all devices to one app
  • Set a single VPD target and the system maintains both temp and RH together
  • Built-in transport wheels let you reposition without disconnecting the unit

How one-duct auto-switching actually works

Most climate setups require manual mode switching when conditions or seasons change. The Terraform 8 handles that itself. Set a temperature or VPD target once and the unit decides in real time whether your space needs cooling, heating, or circulation, then switches automatically. Cool, heat, and fan all route through a single duct. Dry mode is the one exception requiring a second duct for deeper humidity removal. Otherwise, once it's connected, it stays connected.

Five functions. One duct. No manual switching.

One-duct auto-switching AI 5-in-1

Previous Terraform models required manually rerouting ducts between ports to change climate modes. The Terraform 8 handles all switching internally through one primary connection, so mode changes happen in seconds without you touching the ducting. This is what makes genuine year-round, unattended operation possible.

12,000 BTU cooling, 10,000 BTU heating 10x10 coverage

The compressor handles spaces up to 10x10 feet year-round. Output is adjustable across 10 power levels so you can dial back intensity during milder conditions rather than cycling the unit on and off.

Self-evaporative condensate system

During operation, the unit automatically recycles collected condensate water into the condenser coil. This reduces how often you need to empty a drain pan and keeps uptime high during long unattended runs.

Optional UIS controller connectivity

The Terraform 8 works fully as a standalone unit with no WiFi required. Pair it with a compatible UIS controller (Controller 70 or later, sold separately) to unlock the AC Infinity app, remote monitoring, data logging, and grow guides. Note: one-duct auto-switching is not available on Controller 69 Pro+ or earlier models.

Two additional ports for pressure and odor control

Beyond the primary output duct, two optional ports let you run additional ducting to set positive, negative, or neutral pressure inside your tent. This helps control odor movement and keeps unwanted particulates out.

Built-in transport wheels

The unit ships with wheels attached so you can roll it between tents or pull it out for cleaning without lifting it. Useful in multi-tent setups where you may want to rotate climate control coverage between spaces.

Position it once. Set your target. It handles the rest.

1

Position the unit

Roll the Terraform 8 into position using the built-in wheels. Plug directly into a standard 115V wall outlet. Do not use an extension cord or power strip.

2

Connect your duct

Run a single 8-inch duct from the output port into your grow tent for cooling, heating, and fan modes. If you plan to use dry (dehumidify) mode, connect a second duct to the secondary port as well.

3

Set your target

Use the onboard controller to enter your target temperature or VPD value. No WiFi or external controller is needed for basic operation. The system begins monitoring immediately.

4

Let the AI take over

The Terraform 8 reads conditions in real time and switches between cooling, heating, and fan modes automatically to hold your target. Pair with a UIS controller (sold separately) to add remote access and advanced scheduling via the AC Infinity app.

Frequently asked questions
For most grows up to 10x10, yes. The Terraform 8 handles cooling, heating, air circulation, air exchange, and dehumidification through one unit. The only caveat is that dry (dehumidify) mode needs a second duct connected to the secondary port, while all other modes run through the single primary duct. If you're running a space larger than 10x10, or if your heat load from lighting is unusually high, give us a call and we can talk through whether the Terraform 8 or the 16,000 BTU Terraform 12 is a better fit.
The one-duct auto-switching feature requires Controller 70 or a newer UIS model. It is not supported on the Controller 69 Pro+ or any earlier model. The Terraform 8 still operates as a fully functional standalone unit without any external controller. If you're unsure which controller you have or whether it's compatible, the model number is printed on the unit. Call us and we can confirm.
No. The Terraform 8 has an onboard controller built in. You can set your target temperature or VPD, adjust power levels across 10 settings, and program timers without any WiFi connection or external controller. UIS connectivity is optional and adds the AC Infinity app, remote monitoring, data tracking, and alerts.
The Terraform 8 uses a self-evaporative design that recycles condensate water into the condenser during operation, which reduces drain frequency significantly compared to standard portable ACs. Drain frequency depends on ambient humidity and how much the unit is running in cool or dry mode. During high-humidity periods or extended dry mode use, a drain line or manual emptying may still be needed. AC Infinity recommends checking the drain pan regularly during your first few runs to understand your specific rate.
Yes. The Terraform 8 handles climate control independently, so your inline exhaust fan and carbon filter continue to manage air exchange and odor filtration as they normally would. The two optional secondary ports on the Terraform 8 give you additional ducting flexibility for pressure management. If you want everything to talk to one app, a compatible UIS controller ties the Terraform 8 and AC Infinity fans together in one interface.
The Terraform 8 draws up to 10 amps at 115V, for a maximum of 1,200 watts. It should be plugged directly into a dedicated wall outlet, not an extension cord, power strip, or GFCI outlet. AC Infinity specifically advises against using it on the same circuit as other high-draw devices like vacuums or variable-speed fans. A standard 15-amp household circuit with nothing else pulling heavy load is the minimum. A dedicated 20-amp circuit is preferable for continuous grow operations.

You Get What You Pay For! A Piece Of Junk!
Size: 1 Panel
Flimsy and a piece of junk. Don’t waste your money. Assembly is a pain because it is so flimsy. Divider is thin. You can see right through it. Very wobbly.

Instructions are useless
Size: 1 Panel
The instructions are poorly written and not very helpful. The divider itself is easy to assemble, and honestly, it would’ve been quicker if I had skipped the directions altogether. Once put together, though, it works as intended.

This was the best
Size: 1 Panel
This divider is great for creating a little privacy or separating a small area without taking up much space. The fabric is thick enough to block visual clutter, and the frame is lightweight but stable once it’s opened. It folds flat for storage, which is convenient if you only need it occasionally. Assembly was straightforward, and it was the perfect size. It’s a practical piece for apartments, studios, or home offices where you want a quick, temporary partition.

Good privacy screen
Size: 1 Panel, Size: 1 Panel
This is a good privacy screen that's easy to assemble and looks nice. Be a little careful moving it, as the corners can twist. It's sturdy once in place, and the thick material is completely opaque. If the folds bother you, you might want to iron it, but I'm happy with it as is.

Lightweight divider that works well for video call backgrounds
Size: 1 Panel
This divider works fine for what it is, but it’s definitely on the lightweight side. Setup was very easy and only took a few minutes. The frame is fairly light, so it’s easy to move around or reposition if needed. That said, the tradeoff is that it’s not especially sturdy. It stands fine on its own but I wouldn’t expect it to handle much bumping or movement. I mainly bought it to use as a background for Zoom calls when I’m working from my den, and for that purpose it works great. The fabric panel blocks the room behind me and gives a cleaner background on camera. It’s not huge though. To keep the camera from seeing around it, I have to position it directly behind my chair. If you’re expecting it to divide a large room or create a big privacy barrier, it may feel a bit small. Overall, it does the job and works well for temporary setups or video call backgrounds, but the lightweight frame keeps it from feeling like a premium divider. The product description and photos are accurate.
